Jona Kristinsson is an Icelandic–Canadian vocalist, musician, songwriter, producer, and vocal coach based in British Columbia with more than 35 years of professional experience. She has performed, recorded, and toured across a wide range of genres including blues, soul, pop, rock, and jazz, and is known for her powerful, emotionally expressive vocal style and commanding stage presence.
While Jona has contributed to numerous recordings and projects as a featured vocalist, producer, and bandleader, Unapologetically Me represents her first full-length solo album under her own name. The project marks a defining artistic moment, bringing her voice and songwriting to the forefront after decades of collaboration and leadership in the music industry.
In addition to her solo work, Jona continues to mentor and develop other artists through her work as a vocal coach, musical director, and producer.
